Knutsfood had a sneak inside Casa Tapas, Knutsford's new Spanish Tapas Restaurant in the old White Lion on King Street. What greets you when you enter the front door couldn't be further away from the grotty pub we all loved.

What we knew as the old White Lion has been stripped back to the beams and floorboards and transformed into a light and relaxed restaurant, but the biggest transformation is to the rear of the restaurant, what was behind the old White Lion bar. The stockroom has been open up into an amazing beamed eating space, with high vaulted ceilings, exposed beams and bare walls really showing off the history of the building and creating an amazing new dining experience for Knutsford. Upstairs has been opened up as well, now with a galleried seating areas and more beams and exposed walls which also houses the kitchens.
