Celebrity chefs come to town for charity
A feast of celebrity chefs will be cooking up a culinary storm at the "Look Who's Cooking Dinner" to help raise money for the Christie Hospital in Manchester.
The charity dinner will take place at the Mere Golf & Country Club in Knutsford at 6pm on 4 February 2008.
Celebrated chefs from the North make up the amazing line-up of 20 chefs including Simon Rimmer, Paul Heathcote, Brian Turner and Hell's Kitchen sous chef Tim Payne.
Twenty tables of guests will find out on the night which chef will be selecting their wines and preparing their gourmet meals.
Racheline Garston, who has organised the event, said: "This will be a night of culinary excellence and all for a fantastic cause. We're delighted so many top class chefs from around the region have agreed to support the event and not surprisingly the tickets have sold like hot cakes".
Racheline Garston, from Hale, is one of the Christie's most prolific and successful fundraisers and has singlehandedly raised more than £550,000 for various projects at the famous cancer treatment centre. She has also recently become a governor at the Christie.
