Why not be one of the first to answer the Survey? Don't forget, it could win you £250. Simply click on the Link near the top of the page. It will only take about 20 minutes to fill-in. If you don't have half-an-hour's uninterrupted time just at this moment, come back to this website as soon as you do have time and give your answers to the Questionaire. This Survey will form the basis of a major Report and Action Plan, submitted to Cheshire East Council and other authorities before the end of 2009.

We urge all residents, shoppers, those at Knutsford schools, Knutsford business owners and their employees to complete the questionnaire [preferably online via this website link].

The Survey includes questions affecting retail and all other businesses in the town. It covers parking, pedestrianisation, the range of shops and facilities throughout the town - and much more. Those who work, go to school or regularly shop in Knutsford should complete the questionnaire whether or not they live in Knutsford.

We hope everyone who can, will complete it on-line. Every Questionnaire completed manually [rather than online] will take a volunteer member of the Town Plan team about 15 to 25 minutes to transpose into the computer software that will analyse the thousands of responses we hope to receive from the Knutsford community. Please help our hard-pressed volunteers by completing the Questionnaire online as these won't require any more manual processing!

Questionnaires in Large Print, Braille and on Audio will also be available on request. Finally, we plan to issue Questionnaires to parents via their children through schools.

Handwritten Questionnaires should be returned and deposited at one of the designated locations around the town, ready for collection by the Town Plan team. Alternatively, they can be posted to the Council Offices, Toft Road, Knutsford, WA16 6TA, or delivered by hand to the Tourist Information Centre, on the ground floor of the Town Council Office Building in Toft Road opposite the Civic Centre.

What Happens Next?

You can now complete the online. During the last week of February, a printed, off-line Survey Questionnaire will be distributed to every household and also via Knutsford Schools. When these have been completed by hand in black or blue ink, there are three options:
1) preferably, use your answers to complete the on-line Questionnaire (the two are identical) via the link at the top of this website - if you can't use the internet ask a relative or friend to do it for you;
2) alternatively, post/mail your questionnaire to The Town Council Offices, Toft Road, Knutsford WA16 2TA; or
3) deposit your completed Survey form in one of the Town Plan Questionnaire Returns Boxes around the town or (if you have a child attending a Knutsford school) at any of the Schools.

These are at the following locations: The Information Centre (ground floor of the Town Council Office building), The Civic Centre, The Public Library, Booths Supermarket, The Co-operative Late Shop/Post Office in Princess Street, The Heritage Centre off King Street, The Open House 106 Longridge, and the Co-operative Store on Parkgate, Shaw Heath.

Please submit your complete Questionnaire by one of these three options as soon as possible after you have completed it. This must be no later than 30th March 2009.
