Comic Releif at Booths
Help Booths raise a corking amount for charity.
Booths is hoping to uncork a flood of cash for this year's Wine Relief campaign by selling Red Nose Red and Red Nose White in its stores in Lancashire, Cumbria, Yorkshire and Cheshire.
Two Comic Relief wines will be available...A 2008 Pinotage Shiraz - this hearty and full bodied red brims with bramble perfume and raspberry fruit and a 2008 Chenin Blanc, which has a real concentration of fruit with a great tangy refreshment. The wines will be on sale in the majority of Booths stores, as part of its efforts to help this year's Wine Relief.
This year, for the first time, wines have been specially created for Red Nose Day. Endorsed by Master of Wine and top wine writers Jancis Robinson and Tim Atkin, the two wines come from one of the finest vineyards in South Africa, SAAM Mountain Vineyards.
Each environmentally-friendly bottle will cost £4.99 with £1 from each bottle going towards Comic Relief. The money raised will be used to help vulnerable people across Africa and at home in the UK.
The bottles will be easy to spot on the shelves thanks to eye-catching labels featuring artwork by Damien Hirst. |
